Panel Discussion
How do you know when to trust your assumptions and when to ask questions? When do you just take your client's word for it? How do you know the right questions to ask? Whom do you ask? Then what do you do with the information? Come hear 3 CA experts talk about their data-collection processes, what they've learned, and the pitfalls they've discovered.
Speakers:
Brad Morrison will talk about data collection in operational efficiency and process improvement projects. Brad's consulting focuses on quantitative problem solving utilizing a wide range of statistical based methodology. Recent work includes applying simulation modeling in the health care and manufacturing industries.
Steve Appel will talk about how to use marketing research techniques to tell the difference between best guesses and real data, emphasizing the qualitative (focus groups, etc.) side. Steve helps businesses, governments and not-for-profits gain an edge by matching the customer/constituent needs and desires to what the client can offer, using an arsenal of marketing research tools.
Bonnie Edelstein will talk about data collection for strategic planning and organizational development projects. In her consulting work, she uses interviews and online surveys to establish assessments of her clients' organizations and to gather feedback from their stakeholders and constituents. The data leads to problem-solving and planning initiatives to create high-performing organizations.
Karl Danneil will be featured in our Member Spotlight presentation this month.
