Consulting Alliance members Kat Koppett and Will Ryan will discuss how to make professional speeches compelling, memorable and useful by creating value, setting the stage and presenting for impact.
 
Kat Koppett is the Founder of Koppett + Company,
and the Training Director of The Mop & Bucket Theatre Company. Her book Training to Imagine: Practical Improvisational Techniques to Enhance Teamwork, Creativity, Leadership and Learning is considered a seminal work in the field of using theatre and story to improve organizational performance. Koppett has designed and delivered programs for organizations of all kinds worldwide.
 
Will Ryan is the principal of Speaking of Health, addressing the educational needs of the diabetic community. Ryan has been speaking professionally for over 30 years while working at IBM and later as a consultant working in the company he founded, Systems Sales Support. He has delivered hundreds of speeches and also developed and taught a public speaking course at Berkshire Community College. Ryan has been a Toastmaster for many years and served as the District 53 Governor (CEO) covering 140 chapters in Connecticut, Eastern New York and Western Massachusetts.

To attend the webinar using a PC:
  • Internet Explorer® 6.0 or newer, Mozilla FireFox® 3.0 or newer, (JavaScriptTM and JavaTM enabled)
  • Windows® 7 or newer, Vista, XP, 2003 Server or 2000
  • Cable modem, DSL, or better Internet connection
  • Minimum of Pentium® class 1GHz CPU with 512 MB or RAM (recommended) and 2 GB of RAM for Windows Vista
  • For the audio portion, participants can dial in by phone.  Those wishing to connect to audio VoIP will need a fast Internet connection (384kbps or more recommended), a microphone and speakers (a USB headset is recommended).

To attend the webinar using a Macintosh®:
  • Safari® 3.0 or newer, Mozilla FireFox® 3.0 or newer, (JavaScriptTM and JavaTM enabled)
  • Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger® or newer)
  • PowerPC G4/G5 or Intel processor (512 MB of RAM or better recommended)
