This facilitated discussion will help us learn best practices and fresh ideas from each other about proposal writing. It will build on recent presentations by Peter Coombs and Lorraine Ferguson by discussing how to develop a proposal after the initial sales call, and will include such topics as different strategies for designing a project, how to address budget and pricing issues, and what disclaimers to put into a proposal to keep you out of trouble. You may provide Nancy Schultz with examples of some of your best proposals to share (anonymous of course) prior to the meeting.Nancy Schultz loves to help people simplify complex issues. She does so when organizations are trying to develop programs or improve their business processes. Skilled facilitation is the key to getting people to understand each others perspectives. Process maps or narrative documents help clients clearly grasp the issue and visualize a solution.Nancy is a charter member of the Consulting Alliance and has served as treasurer and vice-president (three times!).
